I don't want to do this anymore

It's been a long hard day and I've done my bit for sure

And now it's time to lay aside my problems, so it seems

But when sleep comes to meet me, will I dream?

There are twenty-four hours in a day

And yet not one time can I sit down and play

While I sleep, as the hours go by, I know just what it means

And that's when I wonder, will I dream?

So I wonder where I've been

And I wonder what I've seen

In my dreams

When I wake in the morning and I see

That the sun is still rising just for me

Then I can finally lay aside my problems, so it seems

For I know they don't matter when I dream
