The Hill

Far, far away stands a hill dark and dreary

Sending away all the meek and the small

And it never opens up to let them climb it

No it never breaks down to let them win

But I saw that hill and I knew in a moment

That I'd reach the top, yes the top of it all

Close closer now to the end of my journey

Leaving behind all the meek and the small

I can see it now, the start of new horizons

Oh I feel the water rush between my toes

So I climbed that hill and then much to my amazement

Nothing had changed, I was meeker and small

So I realized that all the time we're wanting

But to have and hold is never like your fantasy

So I left that hill and I felt a new beginning

Feel good inside and you're better than the hill
